The Pediatric Allergen Panel is a blood test that detects the presence of specific IgE antibodies for 27 common allergens in children. This panel helps identify food, respiratory, or skin allergies and provides essential information for the diagnosis and management of allergic reactions.
The Pediatric Allergen Panel includes the following allergens:
Grass mix 2 gx
Birch t3
Mugwort w6
House dust (Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus) d1
House dust (Dermatophagoides farinae) d2
Cat epithelium e1
Dog epithelium e2

Cladosporium herbarum m2
Aspergillus fumigatus m3
Alternaria alternata m6
Egg white f1
Egg yolk f75
Cow's milk f2
Cod f3
Rice f9
Wheat flour f4
Bovine serum albumin e204
Casein f78
Beta-lactoglobulin f77

Apple f49
Potato f35
Carrot f31
Hazelnut f17
Peanut f13

Indications
- Symptoms of food allergy (rashes, itching, bloating, vomiting)
- Respiratory allergic manifestations (sneezing, nasal congestion, cough, asthma)
- Frequent skin reactions or dermatitis
- Suspected sensitivity to multiple environmental or food substances
- Monitoring and evaluating response to treatment or elimination diet
Procedure
The test is performed by collecting a venous blood sample from the patient. The sample is sent to the laboratory, where IgE levels specific to each allergen in the panel are measured. The results provide detailed information about the child’s allergic sensitivities.
