Elastography: Liver diagnostics

Liver elastography is a modern, painless method that assesses the elasticity and condition of liver tissues.

The procedure is suitable for patients of all ages and is recommended for suspected fibrosis, fatty liver disease, inflammatory conditions, or for monitoring chronic liver treatment.

The examination is completely painless, performed using ultrasound: a special probe sends gentle sound waves that measure the liver’s density and elasticity, and takes only a few minutes.
